Interactive flow map
Content switching, load balancing, service groups, services and servers, drawn with their bindings. Move, zoom and select to follow a request from end to end.
NetScaler-Flows opens an ns.conf and draws who talks to whom: content switching, load balancing, service groups, services and servers, with the policies, certificates and authentication attached. It is a desktop app for macOS and Windows: the configuration is read on your computer and never leaves it.
Open the ns.conf exported from the appliance and choose a vServer. Below, a sample configuration: click a node to isolate its chain together with the ns.conf lines that build it, open the documentation or convert a sample F5 bigip.conf.
The interface is the product's own, in its original language; the data are sample data and the simulation is not connected to any system.
A NetScaler in production easily holds hundreds of objects: virtual servers, service groups, policies bound at different priorities, certificates, authentication profiles. To understand where a request ends up, you follow names from one line to another across the whole file.
The same happens before a migration or a handover: the configuration exists, but nobody has a picture of it.
NetScaler-Flows reads the file and draws its objects as nodes, one colour per type, joined by their bindings. A click on a node shows its details in the side panel; the network summary shows NSIP, SNIP, VLANs, HA nodes and routes.
Coming from F5? The app converts a BIG-IP configuration into NetScaler commands, validates the result line by line, fixes the most common problems and opens it in the map.
Content switching, load balancing, service groups, services and servers, drawn with their bindings. Move, zoom and select to follow a request from end to end.
Every node opens its properties and the objects bound to it in the side panel, and the network summary gathers NSIP, SNIP, VLANs, HA and routes.
Responder, rewrite, cache, AppFW and content switching policies; certificates, SSL profiles and cipher groups; LDAP, RADIUS, SAML and OAuth actions.
Export the configuration as a PDF or Word report with summary statistics, or print it.
Converts a bigip.conf into NetScaler CLI commands, with load-balancing methods, persistence and monitors mapped to their NetScaler equivalents and a confidence level for every object.
The converted configuration is checked line by line, with blocking errors, warnings and suggestions, and the common problems are fixed before you apply it.
Take the ns.conf from the appliance, or the bigip.conf from the F5 you are migrating.
The file is read on your computer by the app's Rust engine: nothing goes on the network.
Follow the flows, open the nodes, check policies and certificates.
A PDF or Word report for the team, or the converted configuration ready to be reviewed and applied.
No. NetScaler-Flows is a desktop app: the file is read and analysed on your computer, with no upload and no cloud service.
No. It reads a configuration file and never connects to the appliance.
It covers the common objects, gives every converted object a confidence level and lists what needs a manual review. The result is validated, and should be reviewed before applying it on the NetScaler.
No. It is a product of Corellix Software Engineering. NetScaler is a trademark of Cloud Software Group, Inc.; F5 and BIG-IP are trademarks of F5, Inc.
Ask for a demo: we will show NetScaler-Flows on a sample configuration, and you can try it on yours without it leaving your computer.
